MAKE YOUR FUTURE BRIGHT WITH BEST TIPS FOR CBSE BOARD

Exams have always created havoc in the mind and hearts of students appearing for board exams. Sleepless nights, troubled thoughts, loss of appetite, rapid pulse, trembling hands - these are typical manifestations of exam fear.

Most students tend to blindly follow the study routine set by other brighter students in class and end up lagging behind when they cannot keep up with the demanding schedules thereby leading to stress and last minute tension.
According to data, the year of 2006 saw at least 6000 students’ committing suicides due to exam fear and stress. To avoid these situations, follow the guidelines given below:

Simplest ways of Time Management

Time management is an issue of ample importance that if used properly can avoid both fear and stress. Preparedness as an example could be learnt from an ant who stores its food in summer in order to enjoy life in winter. Here are few points set forth for your interest:
Inculcate positive attitude & be confident with your goals.
Focus on time required to tackle subjects one after the other based on the syllabus and developing skills in relation to the same.
Prepare a time –table covering all the required study materials and the testable materials.
Identify difficult chapters, mark specific topics which trouble you the most and find its solution either online or through any expert teachers.
Don’t forget to revise what you have studied in previous days. Devote a minimum time frame for such an activity by reasoning problems and solving practice papers.
Creating deadlines for yourself will teach you the realistic importance of time.
Time for recreational activities should be managed as these provide with refreshments. Daily activities like sleep, exercise etc., must not be skipped.
You could also take specific subject in online as well as offline mode with previous year’s questions papers and practice papers.
Prefer NCERT for reference, as the questions are always from the book only and do not waste your time in searching the materials

“Time and tide waits for none”, this famous proverb is used by most of us frequently in our lives but the real need for this is when it comes to preparation with preparedness.

How to Get Good Marks in CBSE Board Exams

Tips to Avoid Stress
‘Stress’ the word itself explains the criticality of the situation. The questions generally come in our mind are:
        Do i know enough?
Can i cover the entire syllabus?
        How the result will be?
These questions hamper minds like a ballistic. So is there any way out of this anxiety. The answer is ‘Yes’!

Some basic tips to eliminate this demon and regaining the lost confidence are:

Make small but effective study plans that are close to reality. Start rewarding yourself for every well executed plan to remain motivated.
Assess priorities, assets, and difficulties so that you are aware of the fields you need to work on.

Follow a normalized routine atmosphere at home that helps you remain focused. Take frequent breaks between studies so that you are fresh every time you study.
Don’t strip off TV, entertainment, and outings completely. Feel comfortable about yourself.
Divert your mind from imagining extreme consequences and worst situations as they are of no use and needs to be discouraged.
Constant encouragement and reassurance is essential from all significant members in the school and family.
It is important that you are clear about how to take the examination, how to tackle questions, and how to manage time.

Exam tension, exam anxiety or nervousness is all part of growing up. Most of this feeling comes from our mindset and pressure that comes from our family and teachers. Try to keep this at bay and you will do fine in your exams.
