NGOs to help board conduct aptitude test

A new circular issued by the education department has asked regional deputy directors and education inspectors of different regions to cooperate with two career counselling NGOs that will conduct the aptitude test for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) students at schools of selected regions.

However, the circular has not mentioned when the examination would be conducted, but has asked the NGOs to submit a weekly progress report to the state government, board, respective regional deputy directors and education inspectors.

The non-government organization (NGOs) appointed for the same are Career Analysis and Profiling (CAP) and Friends Union for Energising Lives (FUEL).
